I have always been interested in process and materials.I work with traditional art materials like watercolor, colored pencils, oil pastels, as well as acrylic spray paint which I layer with cut-out stencils made from enlarged segments taken from photographs from all sources, and lace.

My process is instinctive, and immediate:  it is moment to moment. I am drawn to themes having to do with the power of nature, and transitory effects of color and space. I am interested in those sensory moments when the edges and even the center of my pieces fall away and reappear and seem to shift.
